After losing my job due to the recession in June 2009, I decided to become a stay at home mom with my 2 little stinkers. After feeding babies, bathing babies, doing laundry, cleaning house, cooking dinner, I found I really needed my own creative outlet. Something I could do for my own pure enjoyment and, out of that, came this custom children's clothing idea. It made perfect sense. I love the boutique clothes, but couldn't afford to spend that money like I used to. Why not make my own? So, here we are.
Whistle Britches offers customizable children's clothing and gifts at affordable prices. The neat thing about Whistle Britches is that I hand create each applique that is offered. That applique is then fused to the shirt and then stitched to create a truly unique look. Please know that all fabric shown on this blog is subject to availability.
